Yulia Popokh – President
Yulia brings 20 years of leadership experience in the logistics and supply chain software industry. Her experience includes more than 7 years with FOG Software Group’s various supply chain software companies, including serving as Director of Development and VP of Operations for Viewlocity Technologies, and, most recently, as President of Argos Software.
She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas in Dallas, and an MBA from the University of Texas in Austin.
Yulia is a strong supporter of lean, agile processes with strong focus on delivering products and services that maximize customer satisfaction.
Charlie Hawkins – Director of Sales
As the Director of Sales for Varsity Logistics, Charlie Hawkins holds a key sales leadership position connecting customers with comprehensive software specifically designed to suit their company’s needs.
Charlie joined Varsity in 2004 and has over 25 years of sales and senior management experience in the TMS& WMS industries. Prior to joining Varsity, Charlie was Vice President of Sales at Pfastship Logistics for over 9 years.
Through his deep-rooted background in the field, Charlie has developed a thorough understanding of the shipping and logistics industry and serves as a trusted resource for companies that are challenged with automating shipping and maximizing warehouse throughput. He holds a B.A.Sc. Degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Roberto Ansaloni – Senior Director of Operations and Client Services
Roberto joined Varsity Logistics in 2003 as a Senior Field Engineer and has grown into the position of Senior Director of Operations and Client Services. He oversees Varsity implementation and integration projects in the U.S. and Canada to ensure seamless installation and satisfaction with the software. Roberto also oversees the Varsity HelpDesk and provides support to the sales team with software demos, custom system design solutions, and work estimates.
Before joining Varsity, Roberto had an extensive background in software and I.T., as an I.T. consultant and I.T. team leader for companies such as Blockbuster, The Sports Authority, Beckman Coulter, EDS, and TASCO, working in both Italy and in the United States. Roberto graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida International University with a B.A.Sc. in Computer Science.
